Set up leaderboards and points
Rank your viewers on stream, and give them a points balance earned from likes, comments, shares, follows and diamonds.
Leaderboards
Six leaderboard widgets rank viewers on different measures:
| Widget | Ranks by |
|---|---|
| Top Gifters | Diamond value sent |
| Top Liker | Likes sent |
| Gifter Streaker | Longest gift combo |
| Top Chatters | Comments sent |
| Points Ranking | Points balance |
| Credits | A rolling credits list of everyone who took part |
Each is a separate card in the gallery with its own URL and its own style settings. Turn one on, set how many places it shows, and add it to OBS as a browser source.
Points
Points give viewers a balance that accumulates across your streams. It is what the Points Ranking leaderboard sorts, what the Coin Jar fills, and what a goal set to the points metric counts.
Turn the economy on
Points are off by default. Turn them on in the economy settings, and give the currency a name. It can be points, coins, candy, or anything else; the name is what appears in every widget that mentions it.
Set the earn rates
Each kind of interaction is worth a number of points. The defaults are:
| Interaction | Points |
|---|---|
| Like | 1 |
| Comment | 2 |
| Share | 10 |
| Follow | 25 |
| Subscribe | 100 |
| Per diamond of gift value | 1 |
| Join | 0 |
Diamonds are the main earner on a busy stream, because a single gift can carry hundreds of them.
Put a balance on stream
Turn on Points Ranking for a leaderboard, or Coin Jar for a filling jar, or set a goal's metric to points for a target.
Balances persist
Point balances and all-time records survive closing the app, and they ride along in a settings backup. Session counters reset when a new stream connects.
If you change an earn rate, it applies from that moment. Balances already earned are not recalculated.
