Points
The earn rates, their limits, and which widgets read a viewer's balance.
Points give each viewer a balance that accumulates across streams. It is off by default.

| Per diamond of gift value | 1 |

A gift pays out per diamond, so a single expensive gift can be worth more than a whole stream of likes. That is the intent: diamonds are the main earner on a busy stream.
Rates are clamped between 0 and 100,000. A negative rate would let a viewer farm a balance downward, and an unbounded one overflows every leaderboard column on the first gift, so both are refused.
Naming the currency
The currency has a name you set. It can be points, coins, candy, or whatever suits the stream. Every widget that mentions a balance uses that name.
Where a balance shows up
| Widget | Uses points for |
|---|---|
| Points Ranking | Ranks viewers by balance |
| Coin Jar | Fills as the total grows |
| Goal with the points metric | Counts toward a target |
| Stat Label | Shows a number with your own wording |
What persists
Point balances and all-time records survive closing the app and are included in a settings backup. Session counters reset when a new stream connects.
Changing a rate applies from that moment. Balances already earned are not recalculated.
