Make Your First Event

This is where the magic happens! You are going to tell Vfinity what to do when something happens on your TikTok LIVE.

What is an event?

An event is something that happens during your stream. For example:

• Someone sends you a gift
• Someone follows you
• Someone likes your stream
• Someone leaves a comment

When one of these things happens, you can make your avatar do something fun in response.

Step 1: Go to the Events tab

1. In Vfinity, click on the Events tab at the top
2. This is where you will see all your event mappings

Step 2: Create a new event

1. Click the New Event button
2. A form will appear where you can set up your event

Step 3: Pick what triggers the event

The trigger is what happens on TikTok LIVE that starts your event.

1. Look for "Event Type" or "Trigger"
2. Pick what you want to react to. For your first event, let us pick "Gift"
3. This means your event will happen when someone sends you a gift

Step 4: Pick what happens

Now you need to decide what your avatar should do when someone sends a gift.

You have a few choices:

• Trigger Hotkey: Press a key on your keyboard automatically
• Move Model: Make your avatar move in a certain way
• VFX Preset: Show a visual effect
• Physics Throw: Throw a virtual gift at your avatar

For your first event, let us try "Trigger Hotkey":

1. Pick "Trigger Hotkey" from the action options
2. Pick which key you want to press (like the spacebar or the letter G)
3. This key should do something in VTube Studio, like make your avatar wave

Step 5: Add the mapping

1. Click the Add Mapping button to save your event
2. Your event now appears in the list

Step 6: Test it!

Now let us see if it works:

1. Make sure both VTube Studio and TikTok LIVE are still connected
2. Have a friend send you a gift on your TikTok LIVE (or use a test account)
3. Watch your avatar react!

If everything is set up right, when someone sends you a gift, your avatar should do the action you picked.

Making more events

You can make as many events as you want! Here are some ideas:

• When someone follows you, make your avatar jump
• When someone likes your stream, make your avatar spin
• When someone sends a big gift, make your avatar do a special dance
• When someone comments, make your avatar wave

Just click "New Event" again and set up each one.
