Install and Open Vfinity

Ready to get Vfinity on your computer? Let us do this together. It only takes a minute or two.

Step 1: Go to the download page

Open your web browser and go to this address:

https://soursama.itch.io/vfinity

This is where you can download Vfinity for free.

Step 2: Pick your computer type

Vfinity works on three types of computers: Windows, Mac, and Linux. Find yours below.

For Windows users

Download the file called Vfinity_x.x.x_x64-setup.exe
Find the downloaded file and double click it
A window will pop up asking if you want to install. Click Yes or Next
Follow the steps on screen
When it is done, open Vfinity from your Start Menu or desktop

Windows might show a warning that says the app is not recognized. This is normal. Click on "More info" and then click "Run anyway". The app is safe, it just does not have a special certificate yet.

For Mac users

First, check what kind of Mac you have:

If your Mac has	Download this file
M1, M2, M3, or newer chip	`Vfinity_x.x.x_aarch64.dmg`
Intel chip (older Macs)	`Vfinity_x.x.x_x64.dmg`

Not sure which one? Click the Apple menu in the top left corner and choose "About This Mac". It will tell you what chip your Mac has.

Download the right file for your Mac
Open the downloaded .dmg file
Drag the Vfinity icon into your Applications folder
Open your Applications folder
Right click on Vfinity and choose "Open"
A popup will appear. Click "Open" again

You need to right click and choose Open the first time. If you just double click, Mac will block it. Right clicking and choosing Open tells Mac you trust this app.

For Linux users

Download the file called vfinity_x.x.x_amd64.AppImage
Open your terminal
Go to where you downloaded the file
Type this command to make it runnable:

chmod +x vfinity_*.AppImage

Then run it:

./vfinity_*.AppImage

Step 3: Vfinity opens

When Vfinity opens for the first time, you will see the main dashboard. This is where you will set everything up.

The dashboard has a few tabs at the top:

Connections: This is where you connect VTube Studio and TikTok LIVE
Events: This is where you tell Vfinity what to do when things happen
Settings: This is where you change how Vfinity looks and behaves
