Throw Gifts at Your Model

This is one of the coolest features in Vfinity. When someone sends you a gift on TikTok LIVE, that gift will literally fly through the air and bounce off your avatar with real physics. It looks amazing on stream!

What does this look like?

Imagine someone sends you a rose gift on TikTok. In Vfinity, a 3D rose will appear and fly toward your avatar. It will hit your avatar's head or body and bounce off with a sound effect. Your avatar can even react by making a face or moving.

How to set it up

Step 1: Go to the Throwing tab

1. Open Vfinity
2. Click on the Throwing tab at the top of the window
3. This opens the throwing editor, where you set up everything about how gifts fly and hit your avatar

Step 2: Set up hitboxes

A hitbox is an invisible box around a body part that gifts can hit. You need to tell Vfinity where these boxes are on your avatar.

1. In the throwing editor, you will see a view of your model
2. Draw boxes around body parts like:
   • Head
   • Shoulders
   • Chest
   • Arms
3. Each box can have its own settings

Step 3: Add hit sounds

When a gift hits a body part, you can play a sound effect.

1. Click on a hitbox
2. Look for "Hit Sound" or similar
3. Pick a sound you like
4. You can have different sounds for different body parts

Step 4: Add reactions

You can make your avatar react when a gift hits it.

1. Click on a hitbox
2. Look for "Reaction" settings
3. Pick what you want your avatar to do, like:
   • Make a surprised face
   • Move the head
   • Play an animation

Step 5: Set cooldowns

A cooldown is a waiting period. It stops gifts from being thrown too fast.

1. Look for "Cooldown" settings
2. Pick how many seconds to wait between throws
3. A few seconds is usually good

Step 6: Test it

1. Make sure everything is connected (VTube Studio and TikTok LIVE)
2. Have someone send you a gift on TikTok LIVE
3. Watch the gift fly and bounce off your avatar!

Tips for great throws

• Make hitboxes big enough that gifts actually hit them
• Use funny sound effects to make it entertaining
• Add reactions that match your character's personality
• Set cooldowns so it does not get too chaotic
