Connect VTube Studio
Learn how to connect Vfinity to VTube Studio so your avatar can react to TikTok events.
Before Vfinity can make your avatar do cool things, it needs to talk to VTube Studio. Let us connect them.
Step 1: Open VTube Studio first
Open VTube Studio on your computer. Make sure your avatar is loaded and you can see it on screen.
Step 2: Turn on the API in VTube Studio
VTube Studio has a setting that lets other programs talk to it. We need to turn this on.
- In VTube Studio, click on the settings icon (it looks like a gear)
- Look for "API" or "Plugin API" settings
- Turn on the API
- Save the settings if needed
Step 3: Go to Connections in Vfinity
Now go back to Vfinity.
- Click on the Connections tab at the top of the window
- You will see a section for VTube Studio
Step 4: Click Connect
- Click the Connect button next to VTube Studio
- Vfinity will try to talk to VTube Studio
Step 5: Approve the connection in VTube Studio
When Vfinity tries to connect, VTube Studio will show a popup asking if you want to allow the connection.
- Look at your VTube Studio window
- You should see a popup asking for permission
- Click "Allow" or "Approve"
Step 6: Check the light
Back in Vfinity, look at the connection status.
- If the light is green, you are connected! Great job!
- If the light is red or says "Disconnected", something went wrong
Troubleshooting
If it did not connect, try these:
- Make sure VTube Studio is open and running
- Make sure the API is turned on in VTube Studio settings
- Try clicking Connect again
- Restart both VTube Studio and Vfinity, then try again
